The historic first game between the Michigan Wolverines and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish dates back to 1887, with the Wolverines winning the first eight contests. Fast forward 125 years and, in front of a NCAA-record crowd of 115,109, the Wolverines once again were victorious with a final score of 41-30.
